Montajeros. The metalworkers

Eleven hours a day with a group of metalworkers during the second phase of construction of the New University Hospital of Toledo, an architectural monster that will be the second largest hospital in Europe.

Along the way I experienced abandonment, salary delays, layoffs or loss of relatives, but also laughter, stories from other lands, adventures and misadventures of these anonymous “heroes”, accustomed to being away from their families, to the dangers of the road, to live with one another in a true show of brotherhood.

A daily follow-up, a deep analysis of the situation and a curious closer look, without judgments, make up the photographic essay that I propose.
